WashBot ("we," "us," or "our") is a growth platform built exclusively for car wash operators. Our services include WashBot Chat (a website chat assistant), CleanSweep (competitive intelligence), and ShineBot (review management). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

We collect the following types of information depending on which WashBot services you use:
Account Information: When you sign up for WashBot, we collect your name, business name, phone number, and contact details necessary to configure your services.
Website Chat Data: When your customers interact with the WashBot Chat widget on your website, we collect conversation transcripts, timestamps, and general visitor information (such as browser type and referring page) to provide and improve the chat service.
Google Business Profile Data: If you use ShineBot and authorize access to your Google Business Profile, we access your business reviews, review responses, and basic business listing information through Google's API. We use this data solely to provide review management services, including pulling new reviews, generating response drafts, and posting approved responses on your behalf.
Competitive Intelligence Data: CleanSweep collects publicly available business information about competitor car washes, including pricing, services, ratings, and location data from public sources.
SMS and Phone Number Data: When end-users voluntarily submit their phone number through a web form on a car wash operator's website (such as a coupon claim form or promotional signup), we collect that phone number for the purpose of sending promotional text messages on behalf of the car wash operator. Phone numbers are stored securely and are not sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than delivering the messages the end-user opted in to receive.
Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

WashBot sends text messages (SMS and MMS) on behalf of car wash operators to their customers. By submitting your phone number through a promotional form on a car wash operator's website, you consent to receive text messages related to the promotion you signed up for, including coupon codes, free wash offers, and membership follow-ups.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the promotion. Typically, you will receive 1 to 3 messages per promotion (initial coupon delivery plus optional follow-up reminders).
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

No Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers collected through our SMS programs with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely for delivering the messages you opted in to receive.
Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
WashBot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke WashBot's access to your Google Business Profile at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services that are essential to operating WashBot:

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for reactivation, after which it will be permanently deleted upon request. Conversation transcripts and review data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for analytics purposes.
Phone numbers collected through SMS promotions are retained only for the duration of the promotional campaign and any follow-up period. Once a user opts out via STOP, their phone number is flagged and no further messages are sent.

The WashBot Chat widget uses local browser storage to maintain conversation context during a session. We use Google Analytics on washbot.io to understand site traffic. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
WashBot is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
